When purchasing cleansers, remember to by mild or light depending on your skin texture. Start with a mild and slowly move towards light when needed. The same strategy should be used with cosmetics; nothing should be put on skin which has the chances to irritate it. If any areas that fit into that category are found, it is best recommended to get them checked by a dermatologist as soon as possible. Pigmentations are usually brownish red or dark brown. The skin should feel rough with a bit of depth to it.

The pores around the nose are also larger because of the larger oil glands. Sebaceous glands are also found along the back, neck, and chest. There is no way to completely eliminate oily skin; the amount of oil produce is based purely on genetics. During puberty oil glands are more active, which sometimes is the cause of acne.
