Spotting damage caused by the sun is a fairly easy process. In early adult hood damaged skin is easier to spot. Wrinkles should feel harsh and coarse if they were caused by over exposure. Toxins should also be eliminated; this includes margarine and hydrogenated fats, sugars, aspartame, mono sodium glutamate (MSG), fried foods, and alcoholic drinks. Foods which discourage oily skin are primarily organics such as vegetables.

There is no way to completely eliminate oily skin; the amount of oil produce is based purely on genetics. During puberty oil glands are more active, which sometimes is the cause of acne.
