The oil found primarily on the face is produced by glands called the sebaceous glands. There is no way to completely eliminate oily skin; the amount of oil produce is based purely on genetics. During puberty oil glands are more active, which sometimes is the cause of acne.
Dermocosmetics are products which are actually a fusion between medicine and cosmetics. Dermocosmetics are a combination of formulas used to prevent oily skin, while providing comfort. They are versatile and able to use during other skin treatments. These products include cleansers, active care, moisturizers, and camouflage. Cleansers are used to control oil without irritating the skin. Active care is formulas used to remove dead skin and unclog pores. Moisturizers are used for combination skin which requires smoothing from irritation. Camouflages are used to hide acne spots while reducing irritation.

Remember that you should only reduce consumption not eliminated. Toxins should also be eliminated; this includes margarine and hydrogenated fats, sugars, aspartame, mono sodium glutamate (MSG), fried foods, and alcoholic drinks. Foods which discourage oily skin are primarily organics such as vegetables.
