Spotting damage caused by the sun is a fairly easy process. In early adult hood damaged skin is easier to spot. Wrinkles should feel harsh and coarse if they were caused by over exposure. Foods which discourage oily skin are primarily organics such as vegetables.

Topical antibiotics are used in cases of mild acne. It is a cream which is applied twice a day to reduce bacteria and redness. Topical antibiotics are only available by prescription. Topical vitamin A derivatives are used to help eliminate blackheads, whiteheads and unclogging pores. This is also only available by prescription.
