Spotting damage caused by the sun is a fairly easy process. In early adult hood damaged skin is easier to spot. Wrinkles should feel harsh and coarse if they were caused by over exposure. Cleansers are used to control oil without irritating the skin. Active care is formulas used to remove dead skin and unclog pores. Moisturizers are used for combination skin which requires smoothing from irritation. Camouflages are used to hide acne spots while reducing irritation.

Remember that you should only reduce consumption not eliminated. Toxins should also be eliminated; this includes margarine and hydrogenated fats, sugars, aspartame, mono sodium glutamate (MSG), fried foods, and alcoholic drinks. Foods which discourage oily skin are primarily organics such as vegetables.
