When purchasing cleansers, remember to by mild or light depending on your skin texture. Start with a mild and slowly move towards light when needed. The same strategy should be used with cosmetics; nothing should be put on skin which has the chances to irritate it. Only cosmetics which are do not have oil foundations should be used to avoid further irritation. Instead try to find water based cosmetics. They are more natural and allow pores to breathe. There are many treatments to reverse the damage done by the suns rays, however there no better treatment then prevention. Diets that are high in fruits and vegetables are a good way to power up your skin to fight any possible damage. Remember to also shield your skin from the sun as best as you can. Wear light clothing that covers any trouble skin areas, and make use of shade when you can. Wear sunscreen whenever you will be outdoors. Apply sunscreens with the proper SPF to suit the occasion, and apply it often throughout the day. A good tip is to avoid the sun when it is at its strongest points. Simply avoid the sun during the mid-day.

Topical antibiotics are used in cases of mild acne. It is a cream which is applied twice a day to reduce bacteria and redness. Topical antibiotics are only available by prescription. Topical vitamin A derivatives are used to help eliminate blackheads, whiteheads and unclogging pores. This is also only available by prescription.
