Sensitive Skin Care Resources
Looking for information on sensitive skin care, we can help. Although we all enjoy long periods of sunshine outdoors, throughout our lives the majority of times spent outdoors is in short intervals. There is a positive correlation between the amount of ultra-violet light and skin care damage. For this reason we can conclude that there is no such thing as a good or safe tan. Every time the skin is tanned it only gets more and more damaged. If it was a natural tan or an artificial tanning bed, the result is still the same; tanning damages your skin. Those who are constantly working outdoors are more likely to be a victim to photo damage. Similar to the sun, smoking is another factor which cases skin damage. It accelerates skin aging, and also has a chance of causing skin cancers.
Eating properly will help prevent oily skin. It has been determined that chocolates and sweets have a connection with acne. Other foods which should be watched for are fish, and iodized salt. Remember that you should only reduce consumption not eliminated. Toxins should also be eliminated; this includes margarine and hydrogenated fats, sugars, aspartame, mono sodium glutamate (MSG), fried foods, and alcoholic drinks. Foods which discourage oily skin are primarily organics such as vegetables.

The pores around the nose are also larger because of the larger oil glands. Sebaceous glands are also found along the back, neck, and chest. There is no way to completely eliminate oily skin; the amount of oil produce is based purely on genetics. During puberty oil glands are more active, which sometimes is the cause of acne.
