It is impossible to eliminate oily skin, but with a few skin care tips oily skin can be minimized. Dirt and daily oils from skin do not cause acne; however, indirectly they do. Topical antibiotics are used in cases of mild acne. It is a cream which is applied twice a day to reduce bacteria and redness. Topical antibiotics are only available by prescription. Topical vitamin A derivatives are used to help eliminate blackheads, whiteheads and unclogging pores. This is also only available by prescription.
