It is impossible to eliminate oily skin, but with a few skin care tips oily skin can be minimized. Dirt and daily oils from skin do not cause acne; however, indirectly they do. Apply sunscreens with the proper SPF to suit the occasion, and apply it often throughout the day. A good tip is to avoid the sun when it is at its strongest points. Simply avoid the sun during the mid-day.

The pores around the nose are also larger because of the larger oil glands. Sebaceous glands are also found along the back, neck, and chest. There is no way to completely eliminate oily skin; the amount of oil produce is based purely on genetics. During puberty oil glands are more active, which sometimes is the cause of acne.
