Before learning how to treat oily skin, we first must discuss what causes it. The oil found primarily on the face is produced by glands called the sebaceous glands. As we all know the nose is a problematic area on the face, this is because the sebaceous glands are often larger in those areas. It is a cream which is applied twice a day to reduce bacteria and redness. Topical antibiotics are only available by prescription.
