Before learning how to treat oily skin, we first must discuss what causes it. The oil found primarily on the face is produced by glands called the sebaceous glands. As we all know the nose is a problematic area on the face, this is because the sebaceous glands are often larger in those areas. They are versatile and able to use during other skin treatments. These products include cleansers, active care, moisturizers, and camouflage. Cleansers are used to control oil without irritating the skin. Active care is formulas used to remove dead skin and unclog pores. Moisturizers are used for combination skin which requires smoothing from irritation. Camouflages are used to hide acne spots while reducing irritation.

Remember that you should only reduce consumption not eliminated. Toxins should also be eliminated; this includes margarine and hydrogenated fats, sugars, aspartame, mono sodium glutamate (MSG), fried foods, and alcoholic drinks.
